Licensed barber and owner of Self-Made Barbers in Reno, Nevada in the Wells District. I respect and value the industry of barbering and its long rich history. It's essential to not only look great but also feel your best. I Never miss a chance to connect and strike up a conversation, to assure client comfort and to provide the highest degree of sanitation, professionalism and integrity in my trade.

Barbering is more than a profession to me — it’s a craft with history, culture, and pride. I believe looking sharp goes hand-in-hand with feeling confident, and my goal is to provide both through every service.

My name is Brian Puente, I am a Reno, Nevada resident and a licensed barber over 8 years. The passion for this craft runs deep, it is a legacy I am actively building.
I believe barbering is a chosen lifestyle, reserved for the dedicated few. My success lies in the ability to create and execute a perfect haircut, building genuine confidence with every client.
I embody the philosophy “shut up and cut”. As a reference to letting my work speak for itself. This commitment has been validated by winning multiple 1st place awards in hair competitions, a testament to the grace of God and the spirit of becoming a self made barber. I strive by stepping out of comfort zones to always achieve higher limits through true passion, sweat, and grit.

My name is Jesus. I am an apprentice barber here at Self-Made Barbers, I have been cutting hair now for a little over 2 years.
I am passionate about the trade of barbering due to being able to make that connection with a client.
Taking pride in my work, to always do my best with giving you a haircut you can be proud to leave the shop with.
My goal is to become better everyday, I plan to achieve that by providing a service clients will look forward to return to.
